The Mississauga Steelheads have completed a trade with the Guelph Storm, sending Justin DeZoete for a seventh-round pick in 2026.
MISSISSAUGA, ON – The Mississauga Steelheads have completed a trade with the Guelph Storm sending Justin DeZoete to the Storm in exchange for a seventh-round pick in 2026.
Drafted in the second round (35th overall) in the 2020 OHL Draft by the Peterborough Petes, Justin DeZoete was acquired by the Steelheads on January 7, 2023. The Hamilton, Ontario native skated in 40 games for the Steelheads during his tenure, recording 9 points (6G, 3A) and skated in six playoff games.
