Celebrating Women In Sports- Steelheads announce Women in Sports Day Presented by Contek Building Group Inc.
BRAMPTON, ON- The Brampton Steelheads are thrilled to announce their first Women In Sports Day on Friday February 7th as they take on the Erie Otters. The game is presented by Contek Building Group Inc. The day, featuring activations before and during the game, aims to recognize and celebrate the impact and achievements of women within sports.
As women continue breaking down barriers within sports, the Steelheads look to use this game to highlight the trailblazers who, through their dedication and hard work, have paved the way for future generations within this industry. Alongside an exciting matchup at 7 pm, the day will feature exciting pre-game activations, inspiring guest speakers, and an overall celebration of women in sports.
Prior to puck drop, the Steelheads will welcome fans and aspiring individuals to attend their Pre-game Panel at 4:30 to 5:30pm, which will highlight the inspiring stories of women throughout the sports industry. A networking session with food and beverages will follow the panel at 5:30 to 6:00pm, providing an excellent opportunity to meet and connect with current and future women in sports.
The panel will consist of the following incredible women:

- Tiffany Smye – Senior Director, Talent, Learning & Development, Maple Leaf Sports Entertainment (MLSE)

- Alisa Eramarkaryan – Sports Partnership Specialist, Canadian Tire Corporation
