2025 U18 Draft
BRAMPTON, ON – The Steelheads added three new prospects in the OHL’s Under 18 Selection on Wednesday night. Brampton held the 13th, 33rd, and 48th overall picks in the draft.
In the 1st round at 13th overall, the Steelheads added Henry Wang of Credit River Capitals U18 AAA. The 2008-born left-shot centreman recorded 23 points (17G, 6A) in 26 games for the Capitals this season. At 6’1”, 180 lbs, Wang also added 3 points (2G, 1A) in 6 playoff games.
In the 2nd round at 33rd overall, Brampton selected 6’4”, 205 lbs goaltender Kaison Wang. In 32 games with Upper Canada College, the Toronto, Ontario native posted a record of (21-11-0).
At 48th overall, the Steelheads selected right-winger Jackson Legault from the Ottawa Valley Titans U18 AAA. The Stittsville, ON native put up 14 points (4G, 10A) in 30 regular season games with his team adding 42 penalty minutes.
