Spitfires Trade Sobolev to Niagara for Draft Picks
WINDSOR, ON.
The Windsor Spitfires have traded D Daniil Sobolev to the Niagara Ice Dogs in exchange for a 15th rd pick in 2025 (NIA), a conditional 4th rd pick in 2025 (FLNT) and a conditional 8th rd pick in 2025 (NIA).
Sobolev, a native of St. Petersburg, Russia was drafted by the Spitfires in the 2020 CHL Import Draft 40th overall. The 2003 born defenseman appeared in 110 games over two seasons with the club and recorded 3 goals and 23 assists for 26 points. He held a +37 in +/- and recorded 92 penalty minutes.
