Saginaw returns home to host rival Greyhounds on Military Appreciation Night
Saginaw, Mich. – The Saginaw Spirit (10-6-1-0) return home as they host the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (5-5-3-2) at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw, Michigan.
Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m.
Today’s game is Saginaw’s Military Appreciation night presented by Bay City Elks #88. Veterans and active military can receive two upper-level tickets and the Spirit will be wearing military-themed jerseys for the game. The team will be auctioning off these jerseys after the game, and proceeds will go to the Bay City Elks #88 Veterans Program.

The Spirit won 4-3 in overtime against the Sarnia Sting Friday, November 11, at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena in Sarnia, Ontario. Josh Bloom scored the shorthanded game-winner in the victory.
The Greyhounds lost 5-4 to the Flint Firebirds Friday, November 11, at the Dort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan. Bryce McConnell-Barker scored two goals in the loss.
Saginaw and the Soo have not faced each other yet this season, but the teams collided eight times in the 2021-2022 season. The Greyhounds won five of the eight meetings.
