Kitchener, ON – The Kitchener Rangers, in partnership with the City of Kitchener, are inviting fans to gather at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium<\/a> this Sunday, May 31, to cheer on the Rangers in the 2026 Memorial Cup Final.<\/p>\n

Puck drop is set for 4:00 p.m. PT\/7:00 p.m. ET, subject to timing adjustments from the CHL, with the Rangers set to face one of the three remaining teams in the tournament (opponent yet to be determined).<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve seen incredible support from Rangers fans throughout this playoff run, and we\u2019re excited to bring everyone together at The Aud to cheer on our team in the Memorial Cup Final,\u201d said Joe Birch, Chief Operating Officer & Governor of the Kitchener Rangers. \u201cThe Aud has always been the heart of Rangers hockey, and creating an opportunity for our community to experience this moment together is something we\u2019re very proud of. We know our fans will bring the same energy and passion that has supported our players all season long.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Fans are invited to come with family and friends to watch the game together inside The Aud with general admission seating. The #RTown viewing experience will be enhanced with some high-energy DJing from DJ Penny. And of course, what would a watch party be without some Rangers swag giveaways throughout the game!<\/p>\n

This is not a ticketed event; admission will be free with voluntary cash or food donations to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region accepted at the doors in support of local families in need.<\/p>\n

Rangers Authentics is closed for in-person sales until June 4, and will not be open during this event. Fans can continue to shop online at RangersAuthentics.com<\/a>, with all orders to be fulfilled once the physical store re-opens.<\/p>\n

Kelowna, BC –<\/strong> The Kitchener Rangers secured a spot in the final of the 2026 Memorial Cup presented by Kubota after a 3-2 win over the Chicoutimi Saguen\u00e9ens Tuesday night in Kelowna, B.C.<\/p>\n

Luca Romano (NYI), Sam O\u2019Reilly (TB) <\/strong>and Jack Pridham (CHI)<\/strong> scored for the Rangers while Christian Kirsch (SJ)<\/strong> stopped 26 shots.<\/p>\n

For Chicoutimi, Emile Ricard <\/strong>and Mavrick Lachance<\/strong> had goals as Lucas Beckman (OTT)<\/strong> made 16 saves.<\/p>\n

With the victory, the Rangers will head to the Memorial Cup final for a CHL record seventh time where they will look to win their third national title (1982\/2003).<\/p>\n

After a goalless first it was the Rangers who would strike first as off of a Chicoutimi turnover, Romano kept the puck on an odd-man rush and beat Beckman high blocker at 1:38. The lead was doubled 2:19 later through O\u2019Reilly\u2019s second of the event as he buried a rebound after Pridham had initially been stopped.<\/p>\n

The Saguen\u00e9ens got back into the game through Ricard\u2019s first of the tournament at 8:38 as he completed a lovely passing sequence that also featured Christophe Berthelot and Nathan Lecompte.<\/p>\n

But Pridham pushed Kitchener\u2019s lead back to two goals only 21 seconds into the third period as his seeing-eye shot from the blue found its way in for his fourth goal of the tournament.<\/p>\n

Lachance cut the deficit to 3-2 with 3:54 left in regulation as he buried Emmanuel Vermette’s pass back door but the Sags couldn’t generate much in the closing moments to force overtime as they conclude the round-robin with a 1-2-0 record.<\/p>\n

The round-robin concludes Wednesday when Everett faces Kelowna. A win for the Silvertips will see them advance to Friday’s semi-final where they would face Chicoutimi. For Kelowna, they simply have to win to keep their tournament alive and force a tie-breaker Thursday.<\/p>\n
