THOMSON RETURNED TO RANGERS

Kitchener Rangers General Manager Murray Hiebert announced Thursday that the New Jersey Devils have re-assigned forward Ben Thomson from the Albany Devils of the American Hockey League to the Rangers effective immediately.

Acquired by the Kitchener Rangers in the eighth round of the 2009 OHL Priority Selection, Thomson is now entering his overage season with the team.  The Orangeville, ON native scored 15 goals in 2012-13 and led the team with 119 penalty minutes.

Thomson was selected by New Jersey in the fourth round pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
