Rangers Select Goaltender in 2020 CHL Import Draft
The Kitchener Rangers made one selection in the 2020 CHL Import Draft on Tuesday.
With the 41st pick overall (49th before passes), the Rangers selected Czech goaltender Pavel Cajan of Liberec Bili Tygri Jr.
The 17 year-old registered a 3.13 goals against average and a .915 save percentage over 29 games in the DHL Cup.
Cajan, who is 6’2” and 174 pounds, also played for the Czech U18 squad this past season. He posted 1.55 GAA and .917 save percentage in three games.
