Rangers Select 13 in OHL Draft
Today the Kitchener Rangers welcomed 13 new players to the organization during the 2019 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore.
With the first-round pick, 13th overall, the Rangers selected centerman Francesco Pinelli of the Toronto Red Wings.
The 5.11.5, 172 lb Stoney Creek, Ontario native played in 71 games, notching 49 goals and 65 assists for 114 points.
“We’re extremely excited to select Francesco today and welcome him and his family to the Kitchener Rangers,” said Rangers general manager Mike McKenzie.
“He is an extremely skilled player and is able to make plays at a very high pace. He has the ability to be a dynamic player for us in the years to come.”
