Rangers Bring Oktoberfest to The Aud Friday Night
KITCHENER, ON – The Kitchener Rangers are bringing the spirit of Oktoberfest to The Aud this Friday as they welcome the Saginaw Spirit for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop.
One of Waterloo Region’s favourite traditions will take over the Rangers game night, with Oktoberfest celebrations throughout the evening and an opportunity for Rangers Nation to give back to the community.
The Rangers will welcome Onkel Hans, Tante Frieda, and members of the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest team to The Aud, including a ceremonial puck drop before the game. The celebration will continue throughout the night with Oktoberfest-themed entertainment, activations, games and prizes. Fans are encouraged to break out their Oktoberfest gear, lederhosen, and dirndls and join us for a night of hockey and Gemütlichkeit at The Aud.
Help Us Stuff-a-Bus for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region
As part of Friday’s Oktoberfest celebration, the Kitchener Rangers are once again proud to support the Onkel Hans Food Drive Stuff-a-Bus in support of the Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Fans attending Friday’s game are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations with them to The Aud.
A GRT bus will be parked outside Entrance 13 at the Box Office doors, where fans can drop off their donations before entering the game. For added convenience, donation collection boxes will also be available at every entrance to The Aud.
Every donation helps support individuals and families in our community, and Rangers Nation is encouraged to help us fill the bus on Friday night!
Limited-Edition OktoberfestxRangers T-Shirt
To celebrate the Rangers Oktoberfest Night, Civilian Screen Printing is creating a special limited-edition Kitchener Rangers Oktoberfest T-shirt exclusively for the occasion.
Fans will have opportunities to win the shirts throughout the game, with a limited number also available for purchase in person at Rangers Authentics.
Quantities will be limited, so fans looking to take home a piece of this year’s Oktoberfest celebration are encouraged to visit the store early. The Lions Club will also be located in the North Concourse and will be selling Oktoberfest merch.

Friday’s game is just one part of the Rangers’ celebration of Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest. Rangers Nation can also find the team taking part in festivities across the community throughout the festival.
