Kitchener Rangers announce Board of Directors and Executive Committee for 2023-24
Kitchener Ont. – The Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club hosted its Annual General Meeting on Monday, September 12th to vote on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
The board of directors serves as an essential sounding board for season ticket holders within the organization. As the governing body responsible for strategic decision-making, they play a pivotal role in ensuring that season ticket holders’ concerns, feedback, and aspirations are heard and addressed. Season ticket holders are responsible for voting on the composition of the board and play a critical role in the governance structure.
Of the Board of Directors for the 2023-24 season, 13 were elected for a three-year term (italicized):

Jeff Emrich was elected as Kitchener Rangers 21st President succeeding Michael Deane. He states,
“It is my honour to serve as the 21st Chair & President of the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club. My family has been subscribers since 1995. I have lived the Ranger experience from a young age and have a deep understanding of our directive as Mr. Eugene George wished. Being elected by my peers to steward our board of directors is a responsibility that I do not take for granted. We will strive to serve in the best interests of this club as a community owned team.
