12 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE TONIGHT’S GAME

1) Tonight marks the first meeting of the season between the Niagara IceDogs and Kitchener Rangers. It will be the lone time the IceDogs pay a visit to the Aud, with the team’s second and final meeting slated for Thursday, March 2nd at 7pm at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines.
2) The Kitchener Rangers boast the league’s fifth best home power play, executing at 22.9%. Their 25 goals at home on the power play are third most in the OHL. Kitchener’s home PK is ranked 10th at 83.2%.
3) The IceDogs have the league’s 15th ranked road PP at 14.5%. They have the 17th ranked road PK with a 77.9% efficiency.
4) IceDogs’ Ben Jones (1G, 5A), Danial Singer (2G, 2A) and Johnny Corneil (3G, 2A) are each riding four-game point streaks.
