1) Tonight marks the first of two meetings between the Hamilton Bulldogs and Kitchener Rangers this season, and the lone time the Bulldogs will visit the Aud. The next and final meeting will take place at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton on Monday, February 20 (Family Day) at 2pm.
2) The Rangers were 1-1-0-0 vs. the Bulldogs last season. Kitchener claimed a 4-2 win in Hamilton on January 8, while Hamilton returned the favour with a 5-4 victory here at the Aud on February 15.
3) The Rangers most recent game was a 5-4 loss to the Knights in London last night. The Bulldogs are coming off a 4-2 win over the Sudbury Wolves in Hamilton on Saturday.
4) Rangers’ winger Darby Llewellyn sits 9th all-time in number of regular season games played in Rangers’ franchise history. Sunday, Oct. 16 vs. the Guelph Storm was Darby’s 250th regular season game played in a Rangers uniform. Tonight will be game #252 as he chases Serge Payer for 8th all-time (257).
5) Darby Llewellyn is now one of only 46 players in franchise history to score 75 or more regular season goals in his career with the Rangers. With 76 goals, he now trails Jeff Skinner who scored 77 in his two seasons with the Rangers from 2008-10.

12) Kitchener’s Giovanni Vallati (BLACK), Riley Damiani (RED), Eric Guest (RED) and Hamilton’s Connor Roberts (RED) have all been selected to represent Canada at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Sault Ste. Marie from Oct. 27-Nov. 5, 2016.
