1:03 Filip Mesar (3) – Carson Rehkopf
A mishandled puck by Carter George handed Mesar his third goal and tenth point during his six-game point streak. Rehkopf sent the puck down the ice in a clearing attempt which landed on George’s stick. As Mesar was skating towards him he fumbled the puck and dove to knock it away, however, the puck went right to Mesar who had no trouble hitting the empty net.

14:37 Trent Swick (5) – Filip Mesar, Hunter Brzustewicz – PPG
Matthew Sop sent the puck up the zone to Brzustewicz who went across the top of the zone to Mesar. Mesar one-timed the puck deflecting off Swick to score Kitchener’s third unanswered goal of the game. Servac Petrovsky took a penalty at 13:19 for delay of game for shooting the puck over the boards which led to the powerplay.
OS 0, KIT 4
16:15 Simon Motew (2) – Matthew Sop
Sop carried the puck under pressure atop the Owen Sound zone, looking for a pass he spotted Motew across the ice along the blue line and sent it over. Motew one-timed the puck where it beat George five-hole to give Kitchener a 4-0 lead.
