Bring your spuds or funds this Friday for Don Cameron Potato Night- presented by Zehrs
Join us at the 23rd Annual Kitchener Rangers Don Cameron Potato Night this Friday, January 25 at 7:30pm versus the Flint Firebirds.
In 22 seasons, Rangers fans have raised the equivalent of half a million pounds of potatoes for families in need. Bring your cash or potatoes and let’s keep the tradition going for Don!
Each year, House of Friendship uses more than 300,000 pounds of potatoes in its emergency food hampers and food assistance programs. When the potatoes run out, cash donations are used to buy more potatoes to meet ongoing needs.
The House of Friendship’s month-long Potato Blitz kicks off January 25th with the Don Cameron Potato Night, followed by the Supermarket Blitz scheduled for February 9th.
Cash and potatoes will be collected upon entrance to the game. If you are unable to attend, donations can be made online or at the House of Friendship Supermarket Blitz on February 9th.
