On Friday, February 7, the Peterborough Petes were in London to take on the league leading London Knights. The game was a milestone for Petes second-year forward Brody Partridge, who skated in his 100th OHL contest on the night. Easton Rye was in net for the Petes, taking the ice in London for the first time since getting his first career OHL win against the Knights last season.
After London took the lead early in the first period, Colin Fitzgerald answered four minutes into the second with his 12th goal of the season. Braydon McCallum picked up the assist on the goal, extending his point streak to five games. After tying it up, the Petes would get some momentum, outshooting London 13-11 in the middle frame. Late in the period, it looked like Brady Stonehouse had given the Petes a 2-1 lead, but the goal was not given after the Knights net came off. Later, after a Carson Cameron shot rang off the post, London would find themselves on a two on one. LA Kings prospect Jared Woolley capitalized, giving the Knights a 2-1 lead heading into the third.
London would add one more halfway through the final frame, winning the game by a score of 3-1.
