Rye Picks Up 21st Win as Petes Beat Rival Generals at Home
On Thursday, January 8, the Peterborough Petes hosted the rival Oshawa Generals at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. The Petes added an empty net goal late in the third period to win the game by a score of 3-1.
Easton Rye led the way for the Petes, stopping 29/30 for his 21st win of the season. Brennan Faulkner, Adam Novotný, and Aiden Young scored in the game, while Matthew Soto had two assists. Garrett Frazer, Adam Levac, and Carson Cameron also had an assist in the win.
