Road Trip Preview: Petes Head North for the First Time This Season
The Peterborough Petes begin the week tied for first in the East, but have their work cut out for them against three strong in-conference teams. The action begins tonight as the boys head to North Bay for a battle with the Battalion, before looking for revenge on Friday night in Sudbury against the Wolves. After an off day on Friday, the Petes will look to even up the season series with a win in Oshawa against the Rival Generals.

Thursday, November 16

Location: North Bay Memorial Gardens
Time: 7:00 p.m.

Story Lines: The Petes kick off a weekend on the road on Thursday night in North Bay. This will be the first meeting between the Petes and Battalion since the 2023 Eastern Conference final, which saw the Petes win in seven games. The Petes enter the game tied for the Eastern Conference lead and will look to take advantage of a struggling North Bay defence that has allowed 65 goals in 18 games this season. With a win on Thursday night, the Petes can take a solo lead atop the Eastern Conference.
Friday, November 17
Opponent: Sudbury Wolves
Location: Sudbury Community Arena
Time: 7:05 p.m.
Wolves Record: 10-6-1-0 (T-3rd Eastern Conference)
Wolves Top Scorer: David Goyette (17GP, 5G, 18A, 23P)
Story Lines: After an appearance in North Bay on Thursday, Peterborough will head to Sudbury to take on a very talented Sudbury Wolves team. The Petes will be looking for revenge after falling to the Wolves 4-0 at home earlier this season. Since their first meeting, the Wolves have added a ton of talent in San Jose 2023 1st round pick Quentin Musty (10GP, 14P), Ottawa FA signing and shutdown defenceman Djibril Toure, and 2023 St. Louis top 10 pick Dalibor Dvorsky (9GP, 11P).
Sunday, November 19
Opponent: Oshawa Generals
Location: Tribute Communities Centre
Time: 2:05 p.m.
Generals Record: 8-9-0-1 (9th in Eastern Conference)
Generals Top Scorer: Matthew Buckley (18GP, 10G, 7A, 17P), Beckett Sennecke (18GP, 5G, 12A. 17P)
Story Lines: Peterborough will wrap up their weekend on the road in Oshawa for a Sunday matinee with the rival Generals. The Generals hold a slight 2-1 lead over the Petes in three games played this season, having won the last two contests in overtime. Colorado Avalanche first round pick Calum Ritchie returns to the lineup to face Peterborough for the first time this season.
