Petes Hold off Storm to Wrap up Preseason with Win in Millbrook
On Saturday, September 21, the Peterborough Petes wrapped up their 2024 preseason schedule by hosting the Guelph Storm at the Cavan Monaghan Community Centre in Millbrook. The Petes held off a late Guelph push to win the game by a score of 3-2.
Zach Bowen led the way for the Petes, stopping 36/38 in the win. Quinton Pagé, Jonathan Melee, and Francis Parish each had a goal on the night, while Aiden Young, Blake Gowan, Thanasi Marentette, and Adam Levac all picked up an assist. The win gave the Petes a 3-2 record through five preseason games heading into next week’s Home Opener.

The Petes are back in action for their 2024-25 Home Opener on Thursday, September 26 when they host the Kingston Frontenacs. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
