On Friday, October 2, the Peterborough Petes were in Kingston for their second meeting of the season with the Kingston Frontenacs.
Peterborough was coming off of a 4-0 win over the Erie Otters at home the night before, and would now be facing the Frontenacs on the road for their second game in two nights. The Petes went down 5-1 after two periods, but fought back in the third. A late goal by Yanis Lutz would have put Peterborough within one, but was waived off for goaltender interference. In the end, the Frontenacs won the game by a score of 5-3.
Mason Minsky had a big night for the Petes, picking up his first OHL goal and assist. Leon Kolarik also had a goal and an assist in the game, bringing his season point total to eight in seven games. Cooper Dennis scored, while Grayden Strohack, Aiden Young, and Landon Roulston all picked up an assist.
