McCallum Scores as Battalion Take 3-2 Series Lead
On Thursday, April 2, the Peterborough Petes were back at the Peterborough Memorial Centre for game 5 of their 2026 OHL playoff round 1 series against the North Bay Battalion. Although the Petes outshot the Battalion 45-24, the Battalion scored an empty net goal late to win the game 3-1, taking a 3-2 lead in the series.
Braydon McCallum scored the lone goal for the Petes, with Brennan Faulkner and Aiden Young each picking up an assist. Easton Rye made 21 saves in the loss.
