Erie Women’s Empowerment and the Erie Otters are teaming up in the 2024-25 season for a huge celebration of Women’s History Month.
As part of the month-plus long celebration of Women-owned businesses, organizations, history, trailblazers, the Erie Otters will wear a specialty warm-up jersey on the 4th Annual Women’s Empowerment Night game. The jersey worn will be wholly designed by [a] female artist(s), with the jerseys being auctioned off after the March 7 game. All proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit Erie Women’s Empowerment, and its efforts to empower women leaders, business owners, and difference makers in our community through cultivating meaningful relationships, education of members, the creation of social networks, and the promotion of entrepreneurship and empowerment.
If you’re an artist, this is your exclusive chance to design and create the warm up jersey the Otters will wear on March 7 – and that you’ll receive as the winning designer! Along with your own jersey and design being on the jerseys, the artist will also receive $250, promotion at the game, and across the team’s social media and website. Designs should focus on Women’s history and excellence, while also incorporating Erie and the Otters brand. However, designs are up to the artist and their vision.
