RELEASE: Erie Otters, Rebich Investments and iHeart Media Erie Announce Partnership with Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia
The Erie Otters Hockey Club is proud to announce a season-long partnership with Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia, rallying fans and the community to help grant life-changing wishes for local children battling critical illnesses.
Throughout the 2025–26 season, the Otters will collect donations at games and through community initiatives. At the conclusion of the season, all funds raised will directly support granting wishes for children in the Erie region.
“Make-A-Wish Greater PA & WV is incredibly grateful to the Erie Otters for championing our mission throughout the season,” said Make A Wish Greater Pennsylvania & West Virginia Regional Manger Kate Neubert-Lechner. “This partnership is a powerful reminder of what our community can do when we come together. We’re not just raising funds, we’re creating hope. Every donation helps bring joy and strength to children and families facing unimaginable challenges, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the magic unfold at the Winter Wonderland game and throughout the Otters season.”
As part of this initiative, Make-A-Wish will be featured as the Non-Profit of the Night during the Otters’ annual Winter Wonderland game on Friday, December 20, 2025. This special evening will spotlight the mission of Make-A-Wish and encourage fans to contribute to the cause during one of the most magical nights of the season.
The effort is further strengthened by community partners iHeart Media Erie and Rebich Investments. Leading up to the Winter Wonderland game, iHeart Media Erie will host a Light Up a Child’s Life radio campaign, amplifying awareness and support throughout the region.
“iHeartMedia Erie is honored to join the Erie Otters and Rebich Investments in supporting Make-A-Wish through this season-long partnership,” said iHeart Media Erie Vice President of Sales Dave Hugar. “Our Light Up a Child’s Life campaign has long been a tradition of hope in our community, and this collaboration gives us the opportunity to extend that impact even further. Together, we’re rallying fans and listeners to help grant wishes and bring joy to children and families across the Erie region.”
Fans can contribute to the fundraiser at Otters home games, online through the team’s website, and during the Light Up a Child’s Life campaign with iHeart Media Erie. You can also click here.

This is just the beginning, and we look forward to making this partnership grow bigger each year.”
