RELEASE: Erie Otters Acquire Three Picks in Swap with Storm
Erie, Pennsylvania — With the OHL Priority Selection in the books, the window has been re-opened for deals to be made between clubs in the OHL.
The Erie Otters struck a deal today involving picks for the upcoming CHL Import Draft.
General Manager Dave Brown announced today the Otters have acquired the #19 overall pick in the 2026 CHL Import Draft alongside Brantford’s second round Priority Selection pick in 2027 and Flint’s fifth round Priority Selection pick in 2028 from the Guelph Storm in exchange for the #4 overall pick in the 2026 CHL Import Draft.
With this move, the Otters continue to build an impressive draft catalogue with eyes toward an exciting future.
