A FESTIVAL FOR ALL AGES

The third-annual Home Opener Fan Fest is FREE TO ATTEND, as the Otters’ gift to the Erie community ahead of our 28^th Home Opener.

Kids at the festival will be able to enjoy Balloon Artists, Face Painting, a Bounce House, and more.

Fans of all-ages can enjoy a taste of Erie’s local cuisine with food trucks The Que Abides, The Cluk Truck, and Triple D’s Tasty Grill on-site in the roundabout.

21+ Fans will be able to enjoy the afternoon’s event with a cold one in hand – including the Erie Otters’ signature beer YOU OTTER BEER HERE.

STARS & GUITARS

The Fan Fest is headlined by three rising country music stars – Top-Five Finalist on NBC’s The Voice Karen Waldrup, Canadian-turned-Nashville’s own Alli Walker, and West Virginia’s Todd Cameron. The three artists will play in a acoustic, roundtable-style show during the entire event.

ROLL OUT THE RED CARPET

Your FIRST look at the 2024-25 Erie Otters will happen just before 5:00 P.M. at the Fan Fest! The entire team will walk the Red Carpet up to the arena to welcome Otters fans, before our captains address the crowd.

TEE IT UP

First home game, first giveaway of the year! Thanks to our friends at Erie County Community College, the first 1500 fans in the arena will receive a free Otters white tee-shirt.

CHEER THE ANTHEM

Fans are in for a very special performance of the National Anthems. Fan Fest Headliners Karen Waldrup will perform the Star-Spangled Banner, while Prince Edward Island’s very own Alli Walker will sing O’ Canada.

PICTURE PERFECT DISPLAY

Rubber Ducky Balloon Designs will have an incredible display of lights and balloons in a designated area of the concourse – the perfect area to get your photo taken!

AROUND THE ARENA

 Keep your eyes out around the Erie Insurance Arena for newly located concession areas with new food, new drinks, and updates to make your game night experience better! As a reminder: EIA concessions are still cashless.

DON’T MISS A MINUTE

Season Ticket doors open at 5:30, while doors for the General Public open at 6:00. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 P.M.

DISALLOWED ITEMS

Fans attending the game should be aware of items not allowed at the Erie Insurance Arena during Erie Otters games.

This includes professional photography equipment (unless given expressed consent) and noise-makers (cowbells, stadium horns, etc.).

For additional banned items, see signs at points of entry.

CLEAR THOSE BAGS

A new bag policy has been put into effect, effective immediately, for all Erie Events venues.

Attendees of events at Erie Events venues are allowed to bring in clear bags 12 by 12 by 6 inches, or a small clutch or wallet no larger than 5 by 8 by 2 inches. Exceptions will be made for medical bags and diaper bags after proper inspection at the venue entrance.

The bag policy prohibits all non-clear purses and bags larger than 5 by 8 by 2 inches (backpacks, large purses, camera bags, briefcases, computer bags). Bags that do not fit the description will not be allowed in the buildings.
