AROUND THE ARENA
EMPOWERING WOMEN IS THE NAME OF THE GAME
International Women’s Month is well underway, and the Erie Otters are celebrating with their fourth-annual Women’s Empowerment Night – presented by Erie Women’s Empowerment.
All season long, Erie Women’s Empowerment and the Erie Otters have worked together to promote women-owned businesses in Erie at games, collaborated on this week’s Women Empowerment Webinar, and had the opportunity to run a contest for a very special pregame warm-up jersey.
The jersey worn tonight in pregame by the Otters was designed by local artists RaeAnn The Artist (Jersey, Shoulder Patch) and Sarah Swanson (Main Logo) – who will take part in the ceremonial puck drop before the game as a sign of appreciation for their work. These jerseys are currently up for auction, with all proceeds benefitting EWE.
ALL IS FAIR
All around the concourse, the Erie Otters and Erie Women’s Empowerment will be presenting a women-owned business vendor fair during the game!
From tattoos to massages to photo booths and so many industries in between, support our local women and their ventures!
