Battle of the 401 set for Western Conference Final
Eight up, eight down.
The London Knights have won their first eight games of the 2025 OHL Playoffs, sweeping both the Owen Sound Attack and Erie Otters in four games a piece.
Fresh off what many considered an upset series win over the Saginaw Spirit, the Erie Otters rode into Canada Life Place on a high ahead of a 2016-17 playoff rematch with the Knights. The Knights stars continued to come up big, leading the way. The Otters had no answer for reigning OHL Playoff MVP Easton Cowan as he tore through the series with 12 points in just three games, leading the Knights all the way to the conference final.
Down 3-0 in the series to the Windsor Spitfires, the Kitchener Rangers were almost all but finished. The Rangers did the unthinkable winning four straight, capping it off with an emphatic game seven overtime win on Tuesday night. They became just the sixth team in league history to win a series after going down 3-0.
