KNIGHTS LOOK TO REBOUND IN FLINT
The London Knights saw their home opener and banner raising night spoiled by the Flint Firebirds on Friday night at Budweiser Gardens. They’ll head to Flint to finish off a home-and-home and even the score on opening weekend tonight in Michigan.
Scouting the Knights (0-1-0-0)
Will Nicholl and Evan Van Gorp led the way for the Knights who are still missing several key veterans away at NHL camps. Both Nicholl and Van Gorp added three points in Friday’s loss.
Look for NHL Draft eligible Henry Brzustewicz to build off a three assist night in his home state of Michigan.
Flint Firebirds (1-0-0-0)
The Firebirds powered past the Knights with ease on opening night behind big performances from Ethan Kenyan and Nolan Collins. They’ll look to defend home ice in their home opener in front of the fans at the Dort Financial Center.
Puck drop is set for 7:05 PM, the game can be seen on OHL Live or tune into AM980 with Mike Stubbs for the call.
