Knights Look for 3-0 Series Lead in Erie

- Landon Sim’s second period goal stood as the game-winner for the Knights.
- First period goals at both ends of the ice sent this one into the second frame all evened out at one.
- Both teams traded off on goals in the second period, with Denver Barkey and Landon sim striking for London, while Dylan Edwards and Wesley Royston buried one each for the Otters.
- Denver Barkey scored a hat-trick for the knights, earning first star and OHL performer of the night honours.
- Leafs prospect Easton Cowan had four assists.
SERIES PREVIEW
After a four game sweep of the Owen Sound Attack, the London Knights will turn their attention to the Erie Otters who will ride into London fresh off a five game series win over the Saginaw Spirit.
The London Knights defeated the 8th seed Owen Sound Attack 4-0 in the first round of the OHL playoffs. Denver Barkey led the series with 12 points (5G, 7A), while Sam Dickinson (3G, 6A) and Easton Cowan (4G, 5A) followed closely with 9 points each.
Erie is coming off a 4-1 series win over the 4th seed Saginaw Spirit and finished the regular season with a 34-28 record. The winner of this series moves on to the Western Conference Finals, with a shot at advancing to the OHL Championship to compete for the J. Ross Robertson Cup.
