KNIGHTS HOST HOUNDS AT CANADA LIFE PLACE
The London Knights are back in action after rattling off four straight wins including a perfect three-in-three weekend over some stiff competition.
OHL Player of the Week Sam Dickinson led the way for the Knights last week with seven points in 3 contests including an overtime winner at home last Friday night. Landon Sim and Denver Barkey found the back of the net for the first time this season and both recorded multi-point outings on the weekend. Goaltender Austin Elliott stayed perfect with the Knights defeating Brantford and Sarnia while rookie netminder Aleksei Medvedev had a career night stopping 28 of 29 shots in Saginaw.
The Greyhounds are one of the league’s hottest teams of late, winning their last five including a shutdown road performance in Windsor on Wednesday night. Goaltender Landon Miller held the league’s number one ranked team to just one goal while contributions from Marco Mignosa and Owen Allard were enough to earn two points.
The two teams will meet tonight for the first time this season before another tilt in the Soo next Wednesday.
Puck drop is set for 7:00pm from Canada Life Place.
