KNIGHTS HOST GREYHOUNDS IN HUGE CONFERENCE SHOWDOWN

Knights host Greyhounds in huge Western Conference showdown
LONDON, ON – The London Knights extended their win streak to seven with a 4-3 win against Oshawa on Sunday. Tonight, the green and gold host the Soo Greyhounds in what should be a very entertaining matchup.
Scouting the Knights (38-11-0-3)
On Wednesday, London became the first team to clinch a playoff berth this season. The Knights are 8-0-0-2 in their last 10 games and are on a 23-game point streak.
Kasper Halttunen led the way for London in Oshawa by scoring twice and dishing an assist. The Finnish winger now has points in four consecutive contests – notching eight in that span. The San Jose Sharks prospect shares the team lead in goals (27) and is seventh in points (48).
Easton Cowan buried the overtime winner on Sunday to extend his point streak to 21 games. The goal put him in a tie with Mitch Marner for the third-longest streak in franchise history. During this outstanding run, the Mount Brydges, Ont. native has 16 goals, 26 assists, and 42 points.

Since being acquired by the Soo in mid-January, Gavin Hayes has been red hot. In 13 games with the red and white, he has 20 points. The Michigan product, who won gold at the World Juniors with Team USA, leads the Greyhounds in goals (29) and is second in points (56).
