GAZIZOV SIGNS PRO DEAL WITH GULLS
The San Diego Gulls announced today that the team has signed London Knights forward Ruslan Gazizov to a one year AHL contract through the 2024/25 season.
Gazizov joined the Knights after being selected by the Knights in the 2021 CHL Import Draft where he spent three seasons with the Knights. Last season saw Gazizov record a career high 81 points, leading the Knights in goal scoring with 36 markers on the season. Gazizov recorded 14 points across 15 postseason games helping the Knights to their fifth OHL Championship before adding three goals in the CHL Memorial Cup.
Gazizov will now forgo his OHL overage season and leaves the Knights with three possible import players on the roster.
