DICKINSON NAMED TO U-17 WORLD HOCKEY CHALLENGE ALL-STAR TEAM
Hockey Canada announced Saturday that first-year OHL blueliners Sam Dickinson of the London Knights and Henry Mews of the Ottawa 67’s have both been named to the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge All-Star Team.
Dickinson’s Canada Black squad placed fourth in the tournament, dropping the Bronze Medal game to Finland by a score of 7-1. The 6-foot-3, 195Ib. 16-year-old from Toronto, Ont. recorded a goal and an assist in seven games. The fourth overall pick of the 2022 OHL Priority Selection, Dickinson has seven points (3-4–7) through his first 11 games as a member of the London Knights this season.
Both players return to OHL action this week after standout international performances.
