Mike Levin Wins Silver Medal for Team Israel at 2025 IIHF U20 World Championship Division II
NIAGARA, ON – IceDogs forward Mike Levin claimed a silver medal at the 2025 IIHF Hockey U20 World Championship Division II, Group B, in Serbia earlier this month.
Levin, a 2005-born forward from Tel Aviv, Israel averaged over two points a game during his time in Serbia. Levin concluded his time at the IIHF Hockey U20 World Championships with a tournament-leading seven goals and four assists for a total of eleven points in just five games. With this impressive performance, Levin helped lead his team to the Championship against Spain.
Levin and Team Israel faced off against Australia, Belgium and Serbia to earn their spot in the final, where they fell short to Spain in a tough 7-3 loss. Levin scored two of the three goals for Team Israel in the Championship game to earn themselves a second-place finish in the IIHF Hockey U20 World Championships.
