IceDogs to Host Annual Rankin Cancer Run Game
NIAGARA, ON – Save the date, Dog Country! This Saturday January 18th, make sure to wear your orange as the Niagara IceDogs will be taking on the North Bay Battalion in their annual Rankin Cancer Run game.
The IceDogs will be swapping out their signature red for specialty orange-themed jerseys on Saturday night, in support of the Rankin Cancer Run. In collaboration with the Rankin Cancer Run, this night aims to bring fans together to support local cancer-care organizations across the Niagara Region.
Having completed 17 runs since 2006, the Rankin Cancer Run has distributed over $12,605,006 to cancer-care organizations across Niagara. The Rankin Cancer Run is a long-standing tradition within the region and would not be possible without its incredible team of volunteers. The Niagara IceDogs are proud to host their third annual Rankin Cancer Run game to support deserving cancer-care organizations in the region.
“The Rankin Cancer Run is incredibly grateful to the IceDogs organization once again for their overwhelming support and belief in our grassroots event and for hosting the awesome orange jersey night” says Mary Ann Edwards, founder of the Rankin Cancer Run. “100% of the funds raised from the night will be returned to our cancer centre for immediate cancer care.”
Tickets for the Rankin Cancer Run game on January 18th are available now and can be purchased either online or at the Meridian Center box office. Join the IceDogs to help the Rankin Cancer Run in supporting the funding needed to provide cancer care programs within the community.
