IceDogs Donate $1000 to Warm a Heart
ST. CATHARINES, ON – The Niagara IceDogs donate $1000 to Warm a Heart to support families this holiday season.
The campaign was created in response to growing requests from school staff for support for students in need. There is a constant demand for financial help to provide winter essentials. This donation will be going towards helping equip children with winter coats, boots, socks, and food. Every effort helps bridge this gap and support the Foundation’s mission of ensuring every student has equal access to the valuable opportunities that school life provides.
“The EFN is grateful for the partnership we enjoy with the Niagara IceDogs. They are a consistent community hub that helps us create important awareness for our cause and raise desperately needed funds,” commented Wolfgang Guembel, Executive Director of
Education Foundation Niagara. “Like many fortunate organizations in our community, we rely on the IceDogs to create this family friendly environment and platform that we can leverage to create meaningful impact in our schools and communities” added Mike Lavalle, Vice Chair of Education Foundation Niagara.
This is the second year the Niagara IceDogs have partnered with the Warm a Heart Campaign and Education Foundation of Niagara to help make a difference in a families life this holiday season.
“I’m proud that the Niagara IceDogs, Darren and myself, can continue to give back,” explained IceDogs Alternate Governor Michele DeDobbelaer. “Warm a Heart is exactly what we strive to do on a daily basis, and we’ll continue to do.”
This holiday season, consider making a donation to https://myefn.org/ to make a difference in our community.
