IceDogs Acquire Brauti and Scott from the Colts
NIAGARA, ON – The Niagara IceDogs have acquired Jack Brauti, Blair Scott and three draft picks from the Barrie Colts.

Jack Brauti is a 6’0, 165 lbs defenceman from Thornhill, ON, coming over after spending all of last season with the Barrie Colts. The 2006-born missed all but six games for the Colts last season, in what was his first year in the OHL. He was originally drafted by the Colts in the 6th round, 104th overall in the 2022 Priority Selection and spent his first year of junior hockey with the Burlington Cougars of the OJHL. Brauti produced a strong rookie season in the OHL, which earned him an invite to the Toronto Maple Leafs development camp.
Blair Scott, a 2005-born defenceman from Kitchener, ON split time between both the Kitchener Rangers and Barrie Colts last season, playing in a total of 54 games across the regular season and playoffs. The 19-year-old stands in at 6’1, 185 lbs and was initially drafted by the Soo Greyhounds in the 5th round, 98th overall in 2021. He split his first year of junior hockey between the GOJHL’s Ayr Centennials and the Kitchener Rangers, earning the call-up after an impressive 42-game stint with Ayr (13 goals and 38 points)
