Czata Selected In 2nd Round By Tampa Bay

NIAGARA, ON –  Ethan Czata didn’t have to wait long to hear his name called on the 2nd day of the NHL Draft in Los Angeles.

With the 56th pick in the 2nd Round the Tampa Bay Lightning selected Ethan Czata.

Czata’s strong defensive game and breakout sophmore season with the IceDogs, saw him shoot up the NHL draft rankings. At the start of the season Czata was unranked and made his all the way up the board to #49 ranked North American Skater.

The Niagara IceDogs are extremely proud of Ethan and looking forward to the future!
