Connor Federkow Signs ECHL Contract With Iowa Heartlanders
NIAGARA, ON – The Iowa Heartlanders have announced the signing of former IceDogs defenceman and St. Catharines native, Connor Federkow to an ECHL contract.
Federkow spent one season with the IceDogs after being acquired from the London Knights on September 5th, a deal that also saw Mike Levin come over to Niagara. Federkow, a 2003-born defenceman played his minor hockey with the Niagara North Stars after growing up in the Niagara region. He played in 63 games in his final OHL season and donned the “A” as one of the team’s assistant captains.
Federkow is an OHL veteran of over 150 regular season games across three seasons between the Niagara IceDogs and London Knights after being selected in the 3rd round, 53rd overall in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection.
