Niagara IceDogs defenceman Mason Howard came into 2019 Training Camp with the intention of making the final roster after being signed to an OHL Standard Player Agreement at the end of the 2017-2018 season.

Mason has become a steady force for the ‘Dogs on the backhand, despite being a rookie on a veteran team.
