How it Works:
Eligibility:
• The Chuck-a-Puck is open to not-for-profit organizations (schools, sports organizations, charities).
Ticketing:
• Each group must have at least 15 people to sell and collect pucks, a minimum of 15 tickets must be purchased for those working the Chuck-a-Puck.
• Please send ticket request to [email protected] at least 2 weeks prior to your chuck-a-puck date.
• Tickets must be paid for/picked up in one transaction.
Ticket Pricing:
• Adult: 19.00+HST
• Senior: $16.50+HST
• Student: $16.50+HST
• Child: $10.00+HST
Arrival:
• Chuck-a-Puck groups must arrive 1 ½ hours before game time to get ready to sell.
7:07pm game (arrive by 5:30pm)
2:07pm game (arrive by 12:30pm)
Puck Sales:
• A $75 cash float is provided.
• Approximately 500 pucks are available to sell each night.
• Pucks are $2.00 each and the winner gets $100. The remaining funds go to the group.
• Pucks sales begin when the doors open prior to the start of the game and run through to the 10-minute mark of the 2nd
• Once sales close, or if you sell out early, please count out $25 in loonies and $50 in toonies for the float and $100 for the winner. A Greyhounds staff member will collect the float and winner’s prize.
Chuck-a-Puck Execution:
• At the 10-minute mark of the 2ndperiod, a game night staff member will bring the group to ice level to get ready to collect the pucks. Please meet at the Chuck-a-Puck table.
• All groups MUST have at least 5 adults on the ice with the children.
• Everyone going on the ice requires a helmet.
• The Soo Greyhounds in-game host will pick the winning puck and announce the winning puck number.
