Soo Greyhounds Unleash Creativity with Next Gen Jersey Design Contest Presented by Bell
The Soo Greyhounds are thrilled to announce the launch of the Next Gen Jersey Design Contest presented by Bell.
We’re inviting fans aged 16 and younger to showcase their artistic talents and contribute to the team’s iconic look.
In an effort to engage and empower the next generation of hockey enthusiasts, the Soo Greyhounds are encouraging young fans to unleash their creativity and submit their original jersey designs.
The contest, open from now until December 15th, 2023, offers a unique opportunity for aspiring designers to leave their mark on the team’s legacy.
Key Contest Details:
• Who Can Participate: Fans aged 16 and younger are eligible to enter the contest.
• Submission Deadline: Designs must be submitted by December 15th, 2023, to be considered for the competition.
• How to Enter: Participants can submit their designs via the official contest portal on the Soo Greyhounds’ website. Each contestant is allowed one submission.
• Design Criteria: The main colour of the Jersey has to be dark as this is worn in the latter half of the season. Numbers on the sleeves and back have to stand out, ie. sharp contrast (white on black, red on white etc.) The Jersey sponsors CANNOT be moved (OHL, CCM, CHL).
• Prizes: The winning design will be worn by the Greyhounds at their Next Gen game on Sunday March 3rd against the Sarnia Sting. The talented designer will receive a personalized jersey with their winning design, as well as 4 tickets to the game where the team will sport their creation.
The Soo Greyhounds organization is excited to witness the diverse and imaginative entries from young fans who share a passion for hockey and artistic expression. This initiative aims to strengthen the connection between the team and its community while providing a platform for young talent to shine.
