SCAM ALERT; Beware of Fraudulent E-Mail Scam Impersonating Soo Greyhounds Business Operations
The Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club has been made aware of an active e-mail scam where fraudsters are impersonating team Business Operations to deceive local small business.
These scammers are attempting to receive payment in exchange of a merchandise table and advertising at upcoming home games this 2025-26 season.
The e-mail then asks for an advance payment be submitted.
PLEASE BE VIGILANT AND LETS WORK TOGETHER TO KEEP OUR COMMUNITY SAME FROM SCAMS.
The Soo Greyhounds will never solicit advance payment for any product or service without first issuing an invoice from the Manager of Business Operations.
If you receive a suspicious e-mail, or suspect the originality of any correspondence from our organization you are encouraged to reach out to a member of our Business Operations staff.
