Rd 4; Mac Hollowell selected by Toronto (2018 NHL Entry Draft)
As the fourth round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft reached the 25th pick, the third member of the Greyhounds heard their name called from the Lone Star State.
The draft is being held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Soo Greyhounds’ defenceman MAC HOLLOWELL was selected, with the 118th overall pick by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Hollowell, a native of Niagara Falls, ON is coming off his third full season as a member of the Hounds.
The 5.09, 166-lb rearguard was the team’s highest-scoring defenceman in 2017-18 recording a career-best 12 goals and 44 assists (56 points) in 63 games played.
He added 2 goals and 14 assists in 24 post-season games.
He was rated 118th in the NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings for North American skaters.
