Penguins select Jordan Charron to ‘The Burgh’
For the second time of the day, and third in less than twenty-four hours, a member of the Soo Greyhounds has heard their name called at the 2025 NHL Draft in Los Angeles, CA.
Greyhounds’ forward Jordan Charron was selected with the Pittsburgh Penguins’ third pick of Round 5 (154th overall)
The Ayr, ON native is coming off his rookie season with the Greyhounds after joining the Program in November of 2024.
In 48 regular season games played he had 10 goals and 11 assists, good for 21 points.
Charron is a graduate of the Ayr Centennials (GOJHL) program.
