Pair of picks acquired in exchange for Brzustowski
SAULT STE. MARIE, ON-
The Soo Greyhounds have acquired a pair of Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection picks from the North Bay Battalion in exchange for defenceman Luc Brzustowski, it was announced this afternoon.
The Greyhounds received a 4th Round Pick in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection and a 4th Round Pick in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection.
Brzustowski, 19, was originally selected in the 6th Round of the 2019 OHL Priority Selection by the Greyhounds from the Kitchener Jr. Rangers U16 AAA team.
In 66 career games played, the 6.01, 180-lb rearguard has 2 goals and 10 assists along with appearing in ten post-season contests.
“Luc has been a great example of what it means to be a Greyhound both on and off the ice. We wish him all the best in his new opportunity with the Battalion” stated Hounds GM Kyle Raftis.
The Greyhounds play three road games this week when they travel to North Bay tomorrow (7 PM), in Oshawa on Friday (7:35 PM) and the conclude things Sunday afternoon in Owen Sound (2 PM).
