The streak has officially hit SEVEN games!
After sweeping the road trip this past weekend (their third road trip sweep of the season) in North Bay, Mississauga, and Guelph, your Soo Greyhounds are set to return home for a pair of games this week.
As the season approaches the midway point, the Hounds continue to be right in the thick of contention in the Western Conference.
With five of the next eight games at the Essar Centre, having our fans out in full support is more crucial then ever.
We look forward to seeing you this Wednesday as we get set to host our annual Teddy Bear Toss game!

Wednesday November 30 vs Windsor Spitfires – TEDDY BEAR TOSS NIGHT

With the holiday season just around the corner, the Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club is pleased to be hosting our annual Teddy Bear Toss and Stuff-A-Bus event this upcoming Wednesday November 30 when we play host to the Windsor Spitfires (7:07PM).
All fans attending the game are encouraged to bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to the game. When the Greyhounds score their first goal of the game, fans are to throw the stuffed animals onto the ice (*Please place stuffed animals in plastic bags).
For the “Stuff-A-Bus” portion of the event, a Sault Transit bus will be parked at the main entrance of the Essar Centre. Staff will be accepting donations of new or gently used toys an clothing, along with non-perishable food items.
All donations from this event will go towards Christmas Cheer to help brighten the holidays for thousands of families in our community.

With the Spitfires and Greyhounds battling back and forth within the West Division, this is an important mid-season game for both teams.
Led by first round NHL picks Logan Brown, Mikhail Sergachev, and Logan Stanley, the Spitfires have the firepower to compete with anyone in the Western Conference.
As winners in each their past seven games, the Greyhounds will be continuing to look for scoring from skilled forwards Zach Senyshyn, Boris Katchouk, Tim Gettinger, and Bobby MacIntyre.

Friday December 2 vs Barrie Colts – Only Visit to Sault Ste. Marie

The Greyhounds close out a two game home stand this Friday, as we welcome the Barrie Colts for their only visit to Sault Ste. Marie this season.
The Colts have had their struggles so far this season and currently sit toward the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.
Led by Sault Ste. Marie native Anthony Stefano, the Colts will be looking for a statement win against the streaking Hounds.
Meanwhile, the Greyhounds have played well against Eastern Conference opponents this season, with a record of 10-2-0-0. We look forward to having Hounds Nation out in full force at the Essar Centre this Friday night!

SEASON TICKET HOLDER CHRISTMAS PARTY

The Greyhounds would like to remind all of our Season Ticket Holders that the annual Christmas Party at the Essar Centre is coming on Monday December 12 from 6-8 PM.
Come out and enjoy and exclusive opportunity to meet the Greyhounds, skate on the Essar Centre ice, tour the locker room and much more!
