Kartye signs with Seattle
The NHL’s Seattle Kraken announced late today that they have signed Greyhounds’ forward Tye Kartye to a three-year entry level contract.
Kartye, a native of Kingston, ON is in his third season with the Greyhounds is already on target for a career-best season with 58 points (33G, 25A) in 45 games played.
He sits second in overall team scoring, while he is 1st in the OHL with 17 power play goals and 9 game-winning goals.
It was earlier this season that Tye (undrafted) was invited to Seattle’s Training Camp.
