Generals to host first ever ‘Badge vs Shield’ Showdown
Oshawa, Ont., – On October 29th, ahead of the Generals versus Attack home game, the Oshawa Generals are proud to announce the first ever ‘Badge vs Shield Showdown’ between the Durham Regional Police Department and Oshawa Fire Services.
Both Oshawa Fire Services and the DRPS have come together to create two teams that will take the ice at the Tribute Communities Centre at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 29th, with the winner taking home all the bragging rights.
Both services are taking part in the ‘Badge vs Shield Showdown’ in support of their respective chosen charities. Durham Regional Police Services are playing for Durham Region Special Olympics while Oshawa Fire Services are playing for United Way Durham.
Tickets can be purchased through the links below and include admission into the Oshawa Generals game against the Owen Sound Attack at 6:05 p.m. the very same night. Five dollars from each ticket goes to support the charity chosen by our first responders.
Note: Season Ticket Holders will receive free entry to the ‘Badge vs Shield Showdown’ but are encouraged to make a donation to one of the service’s chosen charities.
