Generals looking to get back to winning ways in Game 4
Oshawa, On. – The Oshawa Generals are looking to get back in the win column in Game 4 after their third period comeback fell short in Game 3.
Oshawa came out a little slow digging themselves a hole that was just a little to big for them to climb back out of. There were some positives that can be taken from the late push from the Generals showing that there is still a lot of fight left in this team.
London is not a team to be taken lightly and that was demonstrated in Game 3 of this series. The Knights capitalized on almost every mistake the Generals made right from the hop and carried that lead the entire game.
It was the London Knights taking a 2-1 series Lead in the OHL Finals as they took Game 3 7-5 at the Tribute Communities Centre.
The Knights jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Owen Griffin was able to get the Generals on the board cutting the lead to two, but it was the Knights answering back with a pair of their own to go into the second intermission up 5-1.
Oshawa would make things interesting as they came out hot in the third scoring three straight making it a one goal lead. That is as close as they would come as the Knights would hold on grabbing an empty net goal to make it 7-5 Knights.
On the Generals side keep an eye on Luca Marrelli as the Oshawa defenceman closes in on Chris Prongers all-time points in a postseason sitting just four points behind him.
For the Knights, watch out for Kasper Halttunen, the San Jose Sharks prospect is coming of a Game 3 hat trick.
